Filings, not forecasts

See what the powerful bought this week.

Politicians, corporate insiders, and big funds must disclose their trades by law. Coattails watches those filings and flags the rare moments when several of them pile into the same stock at once. That is a convergence.

Free to use. No account, no brokerage linking, no real money in the app.

Strong signal · Convergence

The pile-in

6 insiders and 2 senators bought NVDA in the same window, from different worlds, on their own money.

Spotted · tracked · scored on the record.

Our track record · every past call

John Fetterman bought GOOG. Up 2% since. Every call shows its own result, even the misses.

How it works

They have to tell. We line it up.

1

They have to tell.

By law, politicians, company insiders, and big funds must publicly disclose their trades. Coattails collects those disclosures as they land.

2

Follow the good ones.

The board ranks them by what their disclosed trades actually returned. Tap a name, see the full record, follow the ones you rate.

3

Keep score, zero risk.

Your ride shows what copying your picks would have earned. Nothing is real money, and Coattails never connects to your accounts.

4

Watch for the pile-in.

When several of them move on the same stock from different worlds, that's a convergence. The strongest thing we track, and every call shows its own results.

Inside the app

Three screens. No jargon. Nothing to link.

If it isn't on the board, it didn't happen.

Our track record

Receipts, kept in public

Every convergence call is dated and scored: what the stock did after. Buying clusters posted a real median gain. Selling clusters were a coin flip, and the app says so on screen.

Your ride

A shadow portfolio

Follow leaders and watch your score: what riding their disclosed trades would have returned, window by window. No account to link, no real money down.

Your tickers

The watchlist

Type in stocks you own or watch. The moment the people we track pile in, pile out, or split on one of them, it's flagged. Quiet is an answer too.

Tug of war

When they disagree

Sometimes insiders buy a name while senators sell it. Coattails shows both sides of the rope instead of pretending the powerful agree.

The market right now

Weather, in plain words

One line tells you if the market is Climbing, Falling, Drifting, Losing steam, or Running hot. Both the week and the month, always, no cherry-picking.

The honest part

We publish our misses.

Every past convergence call sits in a dated public ledger with the stock's move since. When the powerful piled in together, the record shows a real median gain. When they piled out together, it was a coin flip, and we show those calls anyway. No other tracker publishes its misses this cleanly. We do.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is this investment advice?

No. Coattails reports what public filings say, for entertainment. It never tells you what to do with your money, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Where does the data come from?

Legally required public disclosures: congressional trade filings, corporate insider filings, and quarterly fund reports. Disclosures arrive with a legal delay, and every trade is shown with its dates.

Does it connect to my brokerage?

Never. There is no account to create, nothing to link, and no real money anywhere in the app. Your follows and watchlist live on your phone, not on our servers.

What do the returns mean?

Returns model a $1-per-trade copy of every disclosed trade, from the trade date to now. It is a hypothetical score, kept honestly, and past form is no promise.

When does the iPhone app arrive?

August 2026, on the App Store. The web board is live now, free, and shows today's signals. Leave an email below and you'll know first.
